An Unusual Looking Raccoon

Imagine you're walking in your neighborhood when you spot an odd looking animal. Is it a cat? Nope, it's a Jimothy! Resident Kiana Hall and her husband named this oddball after spotting him in a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington state. “He just looked like a Jimothy.”, Hall said. To this day, Jimothy has been our internet viral animal.

Hello, Jimothy!

Why is the Internet Obsessed With Jimothy??

The internet has been obsessed with him because of his round shape. The truth is not some magical spell or he was cursed. It is because Jimothy has a rare condition called short spine syndrome, making him look more round and less like a raccoon. Thankfully, Jimothy does not seem to be in pain whatsoever.

Jimothy is an entertainment to the animal lover community. On Youtube, a single short about him had thirty-nine thousand likes! His most viral video was on Instagram, made by Kiana Hall when she first spotted him. Jimothy teaches us that even if we look unique or different, we can still go viral!
